Police are at Lakewood Court in Manukau where a woman was found dead.
A woman has been taken into police custody following the death of a woman at Manukau in Auckland.

Police were called to an incident on Lakewood Court around 4.30am, Detective Inspector Shaun Vickers said in a statement.
A woman was found dead at the scene.
Another woman on the property was arrested.
“While we are in the early stages of our investigations, we want to reassure the community that we do not believe there is an ongoing risk to the public,” Vickers said.
Cordons are in place around the property and a site survey is underway.
“Further information will be provided as it becomes available.”
Lakewood Court is a commercial area with restaurants, hotels, a gym and shops.
Police appear to be focusing their investigation on the seventh floor of Lakewood Plaza, a 151-unit apartment building.
Officers are currently inside knocking on residents’ doors.
A resident said Things the rooms are “rather soundproof”.
“I didn’t hear anything last night, I slept the whole time. I wasn’t even woken up by the sirens and all that.
A spokesman for the building’s developer, the Du Val Group, said they did not know what happened but were “saddened to learn of the death of a young woman”.
